SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and using Most Recent Winner, you agree to receive SMS text messages from us. These messages are an essential part of our service.

Types of Messages

We may send you the following types of SMS messages:

• Verification codes - One-time passwords (OTP) to verify your phone number when signing in
• Rivalry notifications - Alerts when someone records a win in your rivalry
• Taunt notifications - Notifications when you receive a taunt from a rival
• Invitation alerts - Notifications when you're invited to join a rivalry

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the activity of your rivalries. Verification codes are sent only when you sign in. Notification frequency depends on how active your rivalries are.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Most Recent Winner does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging rates. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opting Out

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time:

• Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all non-essential messages
• Manage notification preferences in the App settings
• Delete your account to stop all messages

Note: You cannot opt out of verification codes while maintaining an account, as they are required for security purposes.

Carrier Support

SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. International messaging may not be supported.

Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Consent

By entering your phone number in the Most Recent Winner app, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages as described above. This consent is not required to use non-SMS features of the app, but phone verification is required to create an account.
